Overview of Design Art

So far, we have done drawings of just lines, just curvy lines, and both mixed together. It is very challenging as we have to use something important called HURBE.
HURBE (pronounced: herb) is all these different things in one, like Harmony, Unity, Repetition, Balance, and Emphasis. Emphasis is when there is something that really stands out in your artwork for example, a black and white picture with a stroke of green on it. The green is it's Emphasis.
Harmony is when your picture comes together, like if you have a circle on one end of the paper, and another circle on the other end of the paper, there's no Harmony.
Balance is when the picture balances each other out, like color, and objects.
Repetition is when you repeat an object two times or more.
